Description:
They're little but you can still make them pretty. For this swap you will have one partner that you will send 2 matchboxes decorated by you. I know some make their box from scratch, but you can buy them plain and ready to be painted & decorated on from most craft stores (they come in white or light paper bag brown). It's not a big canvas, but you could do a snowflake, holly, a poinsettia, be creative. As to the inside, surprise your partner with a teeny tiny gift. It can be a pretty piece of paper with a Christmas greeting or a very small gift. Sorry, no newbies this go round. Those participating need to be at least a 9.75. I will angel all those flaked. You must let me know, and of course, rate your partner the appropriate 1 so future hosts may be made aware of their proclivities to flake. Please ask all questions before signing up. I'd like to add that you alone know how bumpy or 3-D your matchbox is (after decorating it), so if it is lovely and fragile, please mail it in such a way as it is not destroyed by the USPS (at the busy mailing time of year). You may need to use a special envelope or use a small sturdy slightly bigger box to put them in -- even if it is only inside an envelope.

I want to participate in this swap but im already in 5 and i didnt realize thatthere was a limit im new at this how would i still be able to sign up?

You would need to have at least 1 good rating under your belt to join. You have not been rated yet. If you have any swaps already sent out, it's very likely you'll have one rating by the deadline. If not, contact me after this sign up date passes and I will do a private swap with you.

Okay when i get my first rating it will be later than the deadline but id like to do a private swap this swap it so neat using a matchbox and turning it into a small shadowbox!

I wanted to get up the pic. The sides need finishing and there is a little more on the top to do. I also have a pic with the little prizes that go inside. It's cute but seemed "spoiler," so I didn't share.
