We've all had to do it in school ~ the teacher has a classroom of captive students in September and instructs them to write about their summer vacation. For this swap we don't have to be as formal :-) Send a lovely notecard to your partner and tell them how you passed your time over the Christmas break. whether you went away to see the relatives if you spent it quietly at home whether you had to work (medical personnel, police, firefighters, etc) if you used the Christmas break to get outta town! I'm always curious to know what other folks do on their holiday time off. So get a special notecard out of your stash and put pen to paper and tell all! Questions - do ask below and I'll do my best to reply. Newbies welcome.

Notecards as I know them are flashcards to study, only a white/colored checkered or lined card - which in my opinion isn't sth nice to swap or to collect... but well, everybody has a different taste :D also I don't know any notecard with matching nice envelope. Can sb please help me to understand? Thank you in advance :)

A notecard is for writing a small letter. It is generally 12 x 15 cm in size with a matching envelope. Do you have stationery (letter paper) stores where you live? They will sell notecards. You're right about NOT using a flashcard style. If I can help further, do let me know :-)

Are folded notecards okay? The only ones I have are folded like greeting cards, but the design doesn't reflect any holiday/event. The inside is blank.

Folded notecards are exactly what I'm referring to. No greeting inside. Just blank space to write the note for this swap. Hope this helps. Xx
