Create a Witch's Bottle for your partner! If you've made one before, and know more information that will help new people make them, add them to the comments! A protection witch bottle is a small glass jar with sharp pointy things inside to keep away harm. You can use needles, pins, thorns, thistles, nails, and bits of broken glass; it's a good way to dispose of broken crockery, old sewing equipment, and the pins that come in new clothes. Some "recipes" even call for rosemary, feathers, sand, knotted thread, salt, coins or ashes. You can make all sorts of witch bottles, for prosperity, luck, protection, various spells, be creative and look at your partner's profiles for ideas for them. You could use an old baby food jar, or other recycled jars or bottles. It does not have to be big, you could even use an old nail polish glass bottle cleaned out with nail polish remover. I've gotten some really beautiful bottles that way. You can buy corks to cap them, or I've seen some that were capped with melted wax which gives quite a beautiful look to them. There are a few different ways that can make your witch's bottle "yours" when you receive it, I'll leave that up to each person to decide! Bury it near the entry to the house (like next to the driveway or the front door), or inside a large planter near your house for protection. 4.9, no recent 1's or 3's. I'm keeping this USA only because it could be expensive to send overseas. If someone wishes an Int'l version go for it. |
