This is a swap for fabric leftovers. You should include at least 10 pieces of fabric at least postcard sized - 4x6 inches roughly. You can send more if you want to! Rules: The (min) 10 pieces of fabric should be at least 50% cotton. Please DO NOT send any overtly christmasy fabric as the idea is to give your craft stash a bit of a shake up rather than end up with more stuff you need to hang on to for another 10 months! If you smoke or have pets please make sure what you are sending is well aired and clean (equally applicable to everyone really!) I've restricted this swap to Europe to give people a chance to reduce their outgoings after any seasonal excesses - this is not meant as an insult to any country this excludes but is a purely financial measure. In this swap you have just one partner.

To give my partner an idea, I love most fabrics and something completely different will be great but I do have a passion for retro/vintage stuff and i don't like bright purple - although funnily enough I love aubergine colour! I am sorting through fabric stash now and will be sending off a few pieces a bit bigger than stated size too. Can't wait to recieve my parcel of fabric bits.

Following Forestmum's example... I like fabrics with simple patterns for example polka dots, lines, stripes, squares, circles etc... and mostly cotton and linen. My favorite colors at the moment are red, white, black, olive green, turquoise, chocolate brown and blue in any shade. I don't like purple and roses or other romantic flowers/images. I'm excited to receive some pretty fabrics and will send my package soon... :)

I received a fantastic package from Carole (I'm sorry if I misspellt your name) from UK. All the fabrics are wonderful! And she anclosed two handmade items (they are soooo sweet!) and plenty of yarn leftovers - in colours I've been recently looking for! She must have read my mind!

Thank you Lighthouse for my wonderful package of fabrics, so nice to get a different selection of stuff.I have even used some already! What a great swap, I will definately do this one again when I see one.
