TNW: For the Birds!

Hi Fellow Swappers!

Although I do not have a pet bird (I couldn't bear to keep a bird in a cage), I LOVE birds! I feed the birds outside and love to hear their songs throughout the day.

So . . . for this swap you'll have 1 partner and you'll send that partner the following:

• a note detailing why you like birds--if you have a pet bird or are an avid bird watcher or feed birds outside your home--throw in as many details as you like!

• the types of birds in your area and some pictures or illustrations of those birds--if you cannot send real photos, illustrations are fine

• your "state bird" if you are stateside--I don't know if other countries designate certain birds to represent a country/area but, if so, please include that info

• an inexpensive bird-themed surprise (handmade is fine)--you might create a bookmark, send some postcards, bird notecards, etc.
