CC: Collage Still Life

The idea is to create a collage that appears well behaved but has a little something to say.

I'm currently inspired by Tom Wesselmann who is well known for a number of his still lifes.

He says things like ...

• Collage elements have auras that trade on eachother
• Elements may be from different realities (painted versus printed) and through their juxtaposition, play off each other
• He would include a television because he was “interested in the competitive demands that a TV (with moving images and giving off light and sound) can make on painted portions"
• Wesselmann made an aesthetic use of everyday objects and not a criticism of them as consumer objects

So, for this swap:
* Create one hand made postcard minimum of 5 x 7 inches or larger.
* Naked or in an envelope.
* Be sure to include your name and the name of the swap on the back so your partner can rate you.
* Get inspiration from Wesselmann or another still life collagist that you know of.
