Cross Stitch ATC #5 - Spring

How is everyone coping with this dreadful winter weather here in the Northern Hemisphere? In the UK, we are thoroughly sick of the rain and I keep waiting, hoping and dreaming for some sunshine and dry weather.

So, this month's stitched ATC is on the theme of Spring. For me that usually means flowers, but it can also mean lambs and calves and other animal babies, it can mean gardening, sunshine and the smell of fresh grass and new growth.

You will send 1 ATC to 1 partner. Cross-stitch ATCs are really easy to make as your stitched design has to be small enough to fit on a standard sized ATC (2.5 in x 3.5 in).

Your design doesn't need to fit the whole ATC. Try to set your stitching off by using papers and embellishments. Ensure that your ATC is something that you would be happy to receive. You can find many free patterns for small motifs on the internet. Make sure you write the theme on the back, along with your name and username.

Use a sturdy backing for the ATC, and keep it to the standard ATC size.
