Rainbow of Grannies - April - Challenge Month

UPDATE ~ I will be taking my Dad to his shoulder replacement surgery on the 31st. I am extending the date by a couple days.

This is a USA only swap. Feel free to host your own international one.

You will send one 7" basic traditional granny square to your assigned partner. The other square should reflect what you feel is SPRING. (More than one round of the SPRING square can be the same color....just not all one color!)

IMPORTANT!!! Each granny must be made using the basic traditional granny square pattern. Also, you MUST use a 4-ply worsted weight acrylic yarn. DO NOT use cotton or wool for these squares and DO NOT use anything lighter than 4-ply. You must use a different color yarn for each round so that each granny will have a rainbow of colors, thus the swap name. The number of rounds depends on the size hook you use and how tight/loose you crochet. Please measure your squares accurately and make sure that they are as close to 7 inches as possible! ALSO Make sure all ends are woven in and clipped!! AND both squares should be different from each other.

Also ~ I live in "Boonyville" Michigan and sometimes our internet connection isn't very good. This is especially true when it rains & in the winter months. So please be patient, partners will get assigned and if needed I will extend the send date.
