Description:

This is a one of a kind swap! I love doing whimsy jars and I live recipes, so I decided to put them together! Okay here is how it works: You will need at least and 8 oz jar (mason or otherwise)

You need to pick a recipe (make sure your partner is not allergic to anything!!) This recipe needs to be mostly non perishable ingredients. (It is okay if a few of the ingredients are perishable, but only 3 max, and please do not send these to your partner).

Now fill the jar with the ingredients!! Unfortunately, for safety reasons, you will have to keep the ingredients individually wrapped so that they do not mix. There need to be at least 8 things in the jar! So if you only have 5 ingredients, and some baking utensils that will help your partner make this recipe :)

This is really simple and really fun! If you guys are not sure where to start, here are some examples for cookies recipes (but remember the ingredients need to be individually wrapped) and cookies may not be the easiest thing because they require a lot of ingredients.

If a few of your ingredients will not fit in the jar, it is okay to put them in the side. Decorate the jar! Make it pretty!

Please rate a five if: you received your jar on time. There are at least 8 things in your jar. The recipe must also be included. The jar is pretty and decorated!

That's about it :) hope you guys like it and pm me or comment below if you have any questions. If enough people like this, I will make it a monthly thing :)

So I e-mailed our swap coordinator about a question I had and thought I should share info with you all, I just beat her to the punch on posting this. So I asked some questions about having to get things that are individually wrapped. So actually we can put corresponding amounts of dry ingredients (e.g. flour, sugar, etc.) in a plastic/ziploc baggy if needed. It should be fine as long as the ingredients are separated by some kind of packaging barrier and those things are not perishable. Can't wait to swap with you all ^_^

Also if there are any jelly-like or liquid ingredients they must be prepackaged by it's manufacturing company (e.g. apple sauce, vanilla extract, etc.)
