JUNE: read me a swap

So many books, so little time!! Don't we all feel like that? And with spring here I've begun yard sale-ing and picking up (yep-even though i promised myself i wouldn't!) more books. I have a stack of things waiting to be read now, growing each day.

So this swap is for ourselves! Look through your waiting-to-be-loved stack of books and choose one. Relax a bit. Fix some tea. Open the book... Run your fingers along the soine, breathe in the nice book-y scent... Now.... READ IT! Enjoy it, feel it, savor it.

(Sigh)

Now create one interesting piece of mail to send your partner. Not just a notecard and envie, make it fun to receive. A handmade postcard, a self mailer, a crossword puzzle turned into and envelope... It's your call. It doesn't have to be complex, just not a plain letterset or card. Include a few sentences (or more!) about your book (why you chose it, where you got it, why you hadn't read it, a brief synopsis... Whatever. Your choice) and your swap-bot name and swap name.

Read a book, tell your partner about it with a creative piece of mail, and you're done!
