Hello dears! This is the first time I'm hosting a swap, and I'm super excited about it. I'm kinda new into this whole swap world, but loving it already. Due to several reasons (lack of time, swap cancellations, etc...) I've never been able to join a tea swap! And since it's been hard to find one lately and I REALLY want to participate in one, I decided to host my own. So here's the rules: You will send 7 tea bags to 2 partners. The idea is to send 7 different flavors, but same flavor from different brands is ok. You can also send loose tea, just make sure you put it in a ziplock bag, or making your own. Did you know you can make tea bags out of coffee filters? How cool is that??!! Please do not forget to check your partners profile, so you know their likes and dislikes. The idea is to send them something they will enjoy. Also, you need to send a note, card, letter, postcard, drawing or anything you want, where you tell a little bit about yourself. You can tell your partner what you think about the teas you're sending, or telling your life story, or how your week has been like. Anything you feel like sharing. It can be a small note or a long letter, and you can make it tea related, or not...that's totally up to you. The idea is to put some effort into your swap and have fun making something nice for your partner. You need a rating of at least 4.95. I'll be checking all profiles, and ban anyone who looks shady. Newbies are more than welcome! All I'm asking is a well filled profile. I will angel if necessary, but really hope it won't and everyone gets a pretty and yummy envie. When or how will I get my partners??

You will get your partners after the sign up date. So after May 31st you'll receive an email saying you can now check your partners. You will then see there's a yellow box to your right where you can see the details. I'd suggest you to fill out your profile thoroughly, you can check other people's profiles to have an idea of what a well filled profile should look like :)

Ok so now all of you have your partners assigned. I checked every single profile (twice!) and contacted (and was contacted by) all the newbies. They all seem very committed to the swap.

There are two girls who don't exactly meet the rating requirement, but we got in touch and their reasons are more than understandable, and I really want to give them the opportunity to clean their reputation. Hope you give them the same opportunity.

In case anything goes wrong, I'm more than willing to take full responsibility for any flakers or problems. I will angel every single one of those that don't receive their envie and would also like to thank @sweetthay for offering her help to angel as well.

P.S: If you're going to send loose tea, please check the countries regulations. For Australia and New Zealand, please send sealed bags, otherwise they'll be confiscated.

Please for me, dont send tea in ziploc bags. I prefer only factory sealed.
