Edibles: Summery Foods 2014

Summer is a great time for food! I love all of the fresh fruits and veggies that are available when the weather warms up. Corn, watermelon, strawberries, tomatoes, peaches, grilled meats, and picnic salads all come to mind. Perhaps different foods are popular in summer where you live?

For this swap, we will send two summer-related, packaged foods. Obviously we can't send fresh fruits and veggies, so we will send items that are flavored like summer foods (perhaps freeze-dried strawberries or watermelon candies) or items that are used to make summer foods (such as grilled meat seasonings or mixes to make a potato salad or chilled pasta salad).

We will:

• Have one partner.

• Send two summer-related foods.

• Spend a minimum of $4.

As with all Edibles swaps:

• Send foods in commercially sealed packaging for health and customs reasons. Be sure to check expiration dates before sending.

• Be courteous by sending our swaps on time and rating our partners when we receive. In the rare circumstance that you must be late, it is expected that you will contact both your partner and the swap host before the send-by date has passed.

• Package your swap appropriately to protect the contents. Bubble wrap, boxes, and zip-top baggies are big helps in making sure your swap arrives in tip-top shape.
