CF Art Journal Pages

Those of us here in the Christian Friends group have such a wide variety of talents and interests! Wouldn't you love to have a Scripture-based art journal with pages from every member of the group?

For this swap, each of us will make or buy our own binder or notebook to hold the pages as we get them. A reasonable and postage-friendly size for the pages would be 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, which is half of a regular sized page. Please use card stock for your pages, and not plain paper. Please leave a border on the left-hand side of the page so that your partner can punch holes if she wishes to keep it in a binder.

The Scripture for the first page is Genesis 2:9, since so many of us are thinking about gardens anyway! You may use any type of art that you like to illustrate your interpretation of that Scripture; painting, drawing, charcoal, sewing, photography, or-yes, you could even knit your page if you've got an idea for that!

If this becomes a popular swap, I will do one every month, each with a different Scripture. Anyone in good standing can join at any time she likes, and does not have to be in the series since the beginning.

To sum it up, this is for one 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" journal page of your own artwork interpreting Genesis 2:9.
