Pet pen-pals plus

I have a beagle - Clyde - and he loves everything to eat - a true scavenger! He likes to play tug of war so toys that he can hold onto and a human can hold onto are great for him. He has no diet restrictions - and he is a scrappy guy!

I have a 50 lb mutt named Erasmus. He can't eat soft treats and doesn't like hard plastic toys. He likes soft animal toys he can carry around.

I think my yorkie, Ginger, would love to be a paw-pal. She is 16 months old. She loves anything that squeaks. She prefers eucalyptus flavored treats over the usual treats. It she doesn't eat it she has 2 big brothers who will. She is 5 pounds and loves to dress-up

Lillie the Basset Hound is seven months old. She has 11 brothers and sisters but she has preformed well and is one of three house dogs. She loves squeakers and any type of doggie treat except for that bacon like stuff. She is a drama queen and just the right personality to write to a pen pal!

My husky/shepard mix Potter is a talkative boy so I think he'd love a pet pal to correspond with. He has 2 (and a possible third on the way) kitty siblings whom he loves to boast about. Any treats should be ok for dogs and cats (just in case), and no soft toys cause he'll rip it to shreds within minutes.

My two puggles (half beagle/half pug), Harry Rex and Molly love to play tug-of-war, like long-lasting chew toys like nyla(sp?) bones, and love the rubber squeaky toys. Small treats are fine, but please no rawhide. They are very excited to have a pen pal, well as excited as Harry Rex gets anyway. Molly is picking out her outfit for the picture as we speak...

I think my partner will be getting a letter from Potter (see above) and Finnigan my brother dog - he's a 4 year old chocolate lab. We live in the same building and Potter told him all about his swap and Finnigan got jealous. Oh well! Something they could share would be nice, but not neccessary (I'll give each of them something special regardless).

Sully is a 5 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He is taking a leisurely summer off from shows after earning his CD, RN and RL2 titles. We will start back up in September so he may have some exciting news for whoever we get to write to. Sully loves soft fleece and fabric toys that make noises like squeaks, grunts and honks. He loves treats with peanut butter and jerky-type treats. One of his favorite exercises in rally is the swing finish, he's got quite a long little body to swing around there! He also loves bar jumps, recalls and dog-dancing moves like backing up and weaving through my legs! At home, Sully likes watching tv, playing with his brother (a cat named Red) and chasing rabbits in the backyard.

I have a one year and 3 month old African Pygmy Hedgehog named Hoggle. He is the best! He talks to me and my boyfriend all of the time, so I'm sure he'd love to make a new friend! Hedgehogs are pretty picky animals when it comes to treats or toys. As for toys he has one of those spiky cat balls and a round ball with a bell inside that he plays with. I read somewhere that they liked pushing around toy cars but maybe he just doesn't like the one that I got him. Maybe another toy car would be good? Or another fleece pocket. He loves hanging out in those.

I have 3 babies. A 6 year old pug, 6 month old pug, and a terrier mix. They love toys and treats! No allergies. Sounds like fun!!!!

Max is a ten-year-old domestic cat. He's black and white... and spotted like a cow.

He likes any sort of catnip toys, but Kitty Hoots toys and things I knit for him seem to be his favorites. He also likes canned cat food and tuna. He doesn't seem to like treats at all. (Though, he used to hate canned cat food until we got a sample of Fancy Feast Elegant Medleys, so maybe he's changed his mind about that, too.)

He has two "pugs in law" (who belong to my future mother- and brother-in-law) named Maggie and Wubby. Max used to live with Maggie, who he got along with better than I expected, but I think he very much enjoys being an only child.

Apollo is a two year old daschund who really likes Rush, sleeping, and staring at our fishtank lovingly. He can only have super heavy duty toys (nothing fabric) as he is a chewer. He is excited to participate in this swap as he sees all of the mail his mommy gets and would like to meet some friends too.
