Radical Self-Love Self-Portraits

When do you love yourself the most? When you're wearing those jeans that fit all of your glorious curves and angles? When you are spending time with your partner, your child, your pet? When your hands are crusted with glue and paint, after a moment of creating?

When is it a radical act to love yourself? After a long day of work, when your hair is a mess? When you are exhausted and stretched thin over all your responsibilities? When you are in your pajamas? When you're not wearing anything at all?

I believe that self-portraits, when taken with the intent of showing your self authentically, are a key to building self-love. It's a radical act to capture yourself, either in a moment of strength or vulnerability.

For this swap, each person will create one self-portrait in any media and any size, that shines with radical self-love. Options can include, but are not limited to: photography print, drawing, painting, collage/mixed media, narrative, poem... Any physical art object that portrays you as you love your self.

If you are sensitive to nudity or explicit images, I respectfully ask that you don't join, in case your partner chooses to share a nude self-portrait.
