Deco part1

I have never done Decos before but I love the idea! So lets do a series of deco swaps and get our decos full of interesting art from all over the world.

Create 1 Deco booklet out of a notecard (5'x7' or smaller) and a maximum of six pages inside. Staple the pages into the note card which is the cover. I'll host series of deco swaps so you'll get your deco full. If you want to participate only couple swaps you can make less pages. As the deco will return to you, you can make it the way you want!

Make this book something that you love, as it will be returning to you once it's full. You will put your name and address on the back cover, as you'll want the book to be returned to you when it's full. Decorate 1 page of the deco, add your swap bot username, real name and country. If you want you can add your e-mail address. You will then send this Deco on to your swap partner (assigned in this round). Write a separate note with swap info!

In the next swap you will decorate page of the deco which you've received from your swap partner in the previous round.

In future rounds, your Deco will be sent to other swap bot members so that they may add their own decorations, names and countries. Once the book is full, it will be sent back to you, and you'll have a great little book full of interesting art from people all over the world. And then you can create a new one and continue swapping :)

What is deco:

Decos – A deco is similar to a friendship book and there are a wide variety of types. It is a bound book of pages which are sent around the world. The person that the book is “for” is usually listed on the cover and when the book becomes full it is sent back to them. Each person that receives and signs the deco will decorate one page according to the theme of the booklet and put their postal/email address and sign their name. Typically, each entrant in the “deco” must use one full page to express themselves. Glitter, sequins, feathers and other scrapbooking supplies are frequently used in “decos.” Despite the artistic expressions used in these types of friendship books, the basic rules of passing the friendship book to person to person is the same.
