Hey everybody !! If you are like me, you made some nice ATCs and now they are in a box cause you are a bit nervous about sending them out. Lets trade these ATCs now!! This swap is for getting out nice work you have done already, for improving your crafting skills or trying new techniques. You will send 2 ATCs to 2 partners. This swap is senders choice so if you are really picky, please do not join. ATC pros are welcome as well. Even if this swap is for ATC beginners, put some heart in your work and only send something you would like to recieve. No sticker slapping & standart ATC size & rules. Newbies are welcome with a well filled out profile. I will check profiles and ban I feel I have to. If you receive your ATCs in time rate a 5 no matter if you like what you got. Don't forget to write your name, the swap name, title and any other info on the back of the ATC. Happy swapping !!

I am a big newbie! Just thought I would let you know. I'm starting to see that people don't like newbies, but you will all have to remember that everyone starts out a newbie. I am new to ATC cards but, I am not new to arts and crafts. I am super excited about swapping. Only hope i am accepted.

Jen- I'm a newbie myself and couldn't get excepted to certain groups and I wrote the same thing, people don't like newbies but like you said everyone starts out a newbie and I thank the people who gave us a chance!!! The funny part is, I have went beyond what was expected and have sent out some awesome packages.. The ones I have received from established swappers have been pitiful... Like they cleaned out there junk drawer and put it in an envelope!! The only decent swaps I've done are private or the atc swaps.... I may just stick with those.. Good luck to u!!

Please understand, it's not that experienced swappers "don't like" newbies - it's that they're cautious about newbies, because they've seen so many sign up for swaps and then disappear without sending. You will find that if you send quality swaps, on time, you'll be getting in groups pretty quickly. :)

I started with a few easy swap like postcards or simple envie swaps and people started to invite me to groups pretty quick. And if you use the search option you will find lots of newbie swaps. Joining "Newbies Helpers Group" is also a good thing cause they host swaps to improve newbies ratings so you can enjoy bigger swaps pretty soon.
