Altered Mini Notebook

can we do anything to alter it? ie... paint, marker, ect...

how much of it are we altering exactly? is the partner going to still use it?

i could only find a 3x5 inch book

are we only altering the outside, or are we altering every page?

sorry guys- yes you can do anything to alter it..its up to you. and it only has to be the front cover. you can do more if you want, but the front is all thats required.

so im brand new to this haha..but this looks like a ton of fun and i hope i signed up for it this will be my first swap..what kind of envelope do i mail this in? and when do i find out where to send it? sorry if thats to many questions i wanna get this right haha

you will find out who to mail it to once the swap is over. you should send it in a small bubble mailer.

the closest thing I could fine to the 4x5 size is a 4.5" x 3.5". It is one of the small composition marbled-cover notebooks. Is that o.k.?

I think that is what I am gonna use. I have altered several of those and it is so much fun! Can't wait to get started on this:)

as long as its in the size requirements can it be a shape other then a square or rectangle??

it can be any kind of notebook and any shape!

My partner is under the impression that I did not follow the guidelines, although I do not agree. I will be sending a second notebook and asking that she return the first one she did not like.

I think that we all have to remember that we are all different and what we make will in turn, be different. We all hve different likes and dislikes as well as toughts and ideas. I love everything that someone has sent me, even if it isn't something that I would have done myself. I look at it as a challenge of our ideas. Sometimes I'll get something from someone and it will be so beautiful, I'll wonder if mine was ok for them and I just hope that they have the same opinions of the swapping as I do. I left swapping in the past and I hop the majoity of swappers today feel the ame way I do! Tammy
