Pink Swap

This swap is for my 16 year old daughter. She likes earrings, necklaces, running, stickers, pens, paper, makeup, anything cute or girlie, funky socks or flip-flops, cool hair supplies (brushes, clips, shampoos, etc.), artsy picture frames, and she collects tiny ring boxes. (No food or candy, please.)

i love the idea that you are doing this for your daughter. My daughter also LOVES pink so i will let her have all the pink stuff i recieve.

Ok 2 problems I am having here UGH!!

One is when I go to view my partner its blank? It's not showing a name or address :(

Next problem is...why did you set it to only 3 days? I don't know about most people doing swaps but I like to get things together that my partner would like. I wouldn't have joined if I knew only 3 days to get everything together.

Help! When I try to view my partner, it's blank, we've been waiting to get things for this swap until we have a chance to read our partner's profile.

The problem with the partners: I have emailed swap-bot and im waiting to see what they say.

Date: I have changed it the 25. I have half of you saying the package is ready and you dont want a far ship date and the other half saying they need time. I hope this helps. If you still need longer pleae let me know.

Glad to hear it wasn't just me having problems reading my partners info....well not that it was good that i couldnt see it, just that it wasn't a problem with my laptop...

Patiently waiting for partners address to send the package taking up space on my back seat..lol...

In my earlier post I put that my daughter likes flip-flops, I just wanted to mention that her shoe size is 7. She also likes crafting, mostly scrap-booking and beading.

K I emailed and have got no response back yet. I am going to wait until tommorrow. If we have no response back and it is still not working, I will email everyone individually who there partner is. I dont know why the system does this its such a shame. This means the earliest anyone will mail their package will be Tuesday. sorry about all this.

Whaaaaa!!! This is my first swap and I was so excited to read my partner's profile so I can personalize this to their tastes . . . I'm trying to wait patiently, but I want to shop!

this is very frustrating. i would very much like to know who i have. at this point, if we don't get our names soon perhaps we should change the mail out date to accomodate this delay....

I just don't feel comfortable gathering pink things until I know what my partner likes, I'd like to read their profile first, not send her a bunch of stuff she wouldn't care for.

i feel the same way jewels. and ionly can go shopping on certain days and that was yesterday, today and tomorrow. not until next weekend than. arggh! this is very frustrating

For feedback if it shows the original sender ... would it be possible for everyone to post here about their packages feedback? Then we could just put in the feedback there was a malfunction in our swap? Also that this person was actually the receiver? Does that sound ok with the swap coordinator?

Here is what I think is the logical thing to do:

Since some of us have already shopped or sent for the person they were emailed, we should stick with the partner whose name Jen emailed us.

This means you have to send an email to your partner, giving them your screen name (it's probably different than your email), and getting their screen name, so you can come here, click on "view complete list of swap participants", find their name, and read their profile to see what they would like.

You also have to exchange mailing addresses, so you both know where to send your finished pile of treasures.

i got my pink package today from ishba and i love everything i got! i will be posting pictures and in my gallery later today.

I can't give a rating to Sweetsugar for this swap because of the mix-up in addresses, so I will rate her here. I give Sweetsugar a big fat 5! and a heart! <3 She took the time to send things my daughter loved, thank you Sweetsugar! I wish there was a way to rate you that would show up in the ratings.

Hey Jewels, the person who the computer said was suppossed to receive their package from Sweetsugar could go on and post the rating with a copy of your comment. Hope that made sense.

Yes, we should all do that, post our rating here, and whoever was originally supposed to send to that person could rate them, copying the comments we make here. Thanks convingltlbtch (giggling at your nickname), I think that would work!

I got a neat package of pink from ellawitch yesterday... yay!

Craftsy, got the package today. It is so wonderful. Those postcards are so cool, great for my collection. I know when my daughter gets home tonight she's gonna go nuts over the stuff in there. Thanks again, your wonderful.

Hey cnvingltlbtch, I got your package the other day just been swamped with a lot of things lately ugh. But I also loved everything you sent me! I am glad that you liked everything...I am always worried that someone isn't going to like what I send. I have had those postcards for YEARS and when I saw that you love getting them I thought it was time to part with a few. hehe. I hope your daughter liked everything.
