SWL ~ handmade christmas card with layers

We'll have 1 partner & will be getting creative and making them a christmas card. :)

Any theme goes as long as it is christmas. Please make sure it is not a super tiny card. It must be on a sturdy background, no paper templates!! Must be make some heavy card stock or something similar. All the details on the card must be made by you.

There's a twist! Your card has to stand out by having at least 1 layer on there. The layer could be:

• A detail/die-cut from thick card, cardboard, or foam before sticking to the card; so it " stands out " from the card

• Card toppers layered up on-top of each other

• Layers of ribbon, paper, mixed media

• Bows, pop-outs, jewels, embellishments, foamy/3D stickers.

• Emboss, stamp, draw, paint

You are welcome to use any mediums and any theme goes for your card, you are welcome to layer up as much as you want or just keep it simple with ONE layer. Have fun!!

There are lots of tutorials online for making christmas cards but I would recommend that we all just get creative here and make something we are happy with, and know our partners would love. Take time on it.

Please write on the back of the card Handmade by... with date.
