I hosted this swap in another group a while ago and wanted to host it again here. This swap is based on the hymn "How Great Thou Art!". I have sang this song numerous times throughout the years. I recently sat down and just read the words and really thought about them. I wanted to create a swap based on this song. There will be a couple of different parts to this swap. "O Lord, my God, when I in awesome wonder consider all the worlds Thy hands have made..." In the first part of this swap, you will send your partner 2 items showing the beauty of God's creation. This could be a picture of a thunder storm, a postcard of the beach, a bookmark of an animal, a note card of a tree, a sounds of nature cd... These are just suggestions. You may send whatever you wish as long as there are no man made structures in the picture. "...that on the cross, my burden gladly bearing, He bled and died to take away my sin..." In the second part of the swap, you will send your partner one item to remind them of God's love for them. It may be a cross, a poster that says "God love me!", a pen with a special verse on it, or a scripture card you have made. Send anything reminding your partner that they are loved by God. This swap is sender's choice and is not meant to cost a lot. Items may be from your stash or handmade. Please just try to make your partner happy and send them something nice to remind them that our God is awesome and amazing! "Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee, "How great Thou art, how great Thou art!" Please include a note or letter with your swap. If there is a time you witnessed a great sight in nature, please share it with your partner. Living in the mountains, there have been several times I have been able to see amazing things. I would love to share these sights with my partner. Please include anything you like involving nature or God's love for us in your note or letter. |
