Ever wonder what do to with the year's old Christmas cards? Feels bad to throw them away? Repurpose them! NOTE: I have upped the number of partners to TWO so you can double the dent in your Christmas leftovers. Make two notebooks out of re-used Christmas cards, add postage, and send one each NAKED to your partners. Stitch, staple, or otherwise add paper to a re-used Christmas card in order to make it into a notebook. Maybe you have to glue in some pretty paper to cover the old signature. Maybe you think it's funny to include Aunt Mabel's message. It's your call. Close it somehow - washi tape, sewing, etc. Send it. OPTIONAL: Make a few for yourself, while you're at it! They'd be great for jotting down ideas for gifts or next year's extra special holiday card. The perfect place to stash recipe ideas and grocery lists for that special day. Make a few more and you've got stocking stuffers. Don't stress over it. This should be a light and fun swap! |
