Decorated Yule Candle

Lets create a beautifully decorated candle for our partner to display for Yule/Winter Solstice. For this swap we will be using a new or like-new condition Pillar candle and decorating with wire-wrapping and beads/charms or creating a paper/ribbon sleeve to go around the candle.

The candle needs to be at least 5" tall by at least 2" across any color is acceptable including plain white as well. You will then get to use your creativity to embellish the candle with wrapping wire and beads/charms or creating a paper or ribbon or combo sleeve decorated with stamped images, cut-outs, embellishments ect... Just make a pretty decorated candle that they can display on their altar or on the holiday table or just sitting on their coffee table.

I want this to be a fun project that allows you a lot creative freedom. Below are just two sites that have decorated candle ideas BUT I stress that these are just a starting point for doing what you want. You can take your candle in a more natural direction with wood beads, feathers,and greenery or in a witchy direction with pentagrams or in a more Solstice theme with Sun imagery or a more Yule look - it is totally up to you!

This will be for USA only because of the shipping costs. Also please package your candle with lots of packing material so it arrives in good shape to your partner.

Safety: These candles are for display only. If you will be burning your candle YOU MUST REMOVE ALL EMBELLISHMENTS.

You can start your candle right away because it is senders choice and I want to have the send out time quickly so we have ample time to enjoy our yule candles throughout the season.

Because of the time and shipping cost of this swap I will not be able to angle and I will be checking profiles and ban any questionable swappers.
