FF:February-Striped FQ+ 2 matching -(INT)

Welcome to a new year with the fabric fanatics! Wow...January is half gone already....and it's time to start thinking about the February Fat Quarter swap.

The theme for February is Stripes. We will have two weeks to find a nice fabric for our partners as you may list below three colour choices that you like. Your partner will then choose ONE of those colours and will select your FQ so that it contains that colour in good measure. You will also pick 2 additional items that match the colour selected by the sender.

So you will send .....

• one 18" by 22" striped quilting cotton print in selected colour
• two additional items that are also in the selected colour

The two additional items can be what ever your choose. They may be sewing related or they may not be. Suggestions for additional items might be......

• 2 skeins embroidery floss
• 2 meter (yard) packet of ribbon
• card of buttons
• your favourite chocolate bar
• 3 note cards with matching envelopes

These are just suggestions for guidance. (each line item above equals one additional item. ie....2 embroidery floss is counted as one item) You may choose to send other items instead....just make sure they are in the colour you have selected for the striped FQ.

Please list below in the comments three colours that you would like so that your partner has some choice based on what they have access to. If you do not list your choices before partners are assigned.....the choice of colour will be senders choice.

Do your best to put together a swap that you would love to open, and do communicate with your partner if needed.

NOTE: On Jan 18th....I've move the sign up and send out dates to one week later than originally posted. We are now sending out by Feb 20. Sorry if this causes any inconvenience , but the send dates for the Feb swaps were all concentrating in the same week...and this spreads things out better.
