SWL ~ Fashion envie & ephemera

Hi all :)

I love high quality fashion photography. The types you see in magazines such as Frankie, Oh comely, Flow, Dazed & Confused, Love, Hype, etc., Don't worry if you've never heard of those before; the swap doesn't require you to know or use those.

For this swap you will have 2 partners. For each partner you will be making & sending;

• 1 Handmade envelope/mail art. This can be a pre-made envelope with fashion photography cut-outs to decorate it fully, or it can be an envelope made from an actual page. It's up to you. It must be fashion theme.

• 15 pieces of ephemera. This can be images/cut outs (if they are thumbnail size cut outs, 2 count as 1), notecards, postcards, vintage ephemera, etc. Sending cut-outs from magazines is fine as long as they are of high quality and are not wafer thin. They also do not have to be the whole magazine page; don't worry too much.

• You may also make an ATC if you wish but this is not required.

Please, please don't make the envelope out of a VERY thin magazine page. It is going through the mail! If you are using a magazine that has thin pages, please use a thicker pre-made envelope and do collage. Also, please don't send crap and simply cut out adverts from magazines. High quality ads like this are allowed but please no celebrity ads, etc.

Think tasteful, artistic, creative. Avoid sending pictures of shoes, outfits etc and celebrities. We're not shopping. :P It doesn't have to be technically "fashion" photography; it can just be a picture from a magazine you like of girls stood together; if they are clothed, you can count this as fashion.
