Description:

Greetings!

This swap is an INTERNATIONAL SWAP

I'm continuing on with the Glorious Sharpie Revolution!

In this swap you'll use sharpies to make lovely 4x6 postcard art for two partners. That's two beautiful, original sharpie works of art for two amazing sharpie fanatics like yourself! The theme is open yet again, (though I'd love if you'd share theme ideas for the next sharpie swap in the comments below. I just love to hear people's ideas!)

GUIDELINES:

Must be Predominantly Sharpie. This is a sharpie swap after all. :) Highlights and washes of watercolor welcome. A wee bit of paint pen to add a bit of sparkle, OK! Sending your partner a postcard made of clipart from your pc, NOT OK..

Must be 4x6 size.

Must be sent naked. That's right people I said naked! No mailing around lovely sharpie art hidden inside envelopes! Going to the post office Naked !NOT OK! Mailing out your postcard naked OK!

Write your favorite quote, something you'd like to share about yourself, a favorite set of lyrics, a poem about your theme, or anything else interesting on the back (don't just send a beautiful postcard front, with nothing interesting on the back....)

Don't forget to include what swap it's for and who you are on swap-bot. Help your partner to know who to rate.

For this swap, please have a rating of 4.8 or higher, and no recent no sends in the past four months. I will angel this swap if necessary, but I'm really hoping not to have to :) I'll be checking profiles and tossing anyone who might seem sketchy.

You can start now, since there is no theme, but should you choose, you can wait until partners are paired up on the 22nd and make something with your partner in mind.

SOOOOO SHARPIE FANS?!?! WHO'S WITH ME?

I have never made my own postcard, Exactly how do I make my own, Do I just draw on one side, and put a stamp on the other? Hmm, I would join, but I feel like I'm not familirar with this...

Hi Athinaa! :) It's easy really just cut a sturdy cardstock, bristol,or watercolor paper to the 4x6 size. You can also use recycled materials such cereal boxes, or food boxes. As long as it's sturdy enough to be shipped through the mail. If using a recycled material, you can glue a front and back piece onto the cardboard to cover up the writing.

With this, you can art both sides if you'd like or just do a one sided image with writing on the back like a regular postcard. I do hope you'll join! :)
