Description:

Do you have all of those nice notecards sitting around that you will probably never use? What I mean is, the kind of notecards that you get when you make a donation to something, or the organization sends you the notecards, then expects a donation?

I'm not going to list specific organizations, but I hope you get my meaning. They are perfectly nice notecards, many times blank inside, but when it comes to a special occasion for a family member, you are just not going to use a "free" notecard/greeting card.

I try to organize mine by categories. They are good to use when writing a swap partner a note with a swap. Or if you just need to send someone a note, but like I said above, not for a family member's special occasion.

What I'd like to do in this swap is to send your partner a specific category notecard, with a note written inside it. For example: in the category "birds", you would send a notecard with a picture of a bird or several birds on it. The bird(s) should be the main theme of the card.

I will try to run this as a weekly swap. Feel free to jump in at any time. I will start by going through my filed categories, then add others. I am open to suggestions. I am fairly new to Swap-bot, so if this idea has been done before, I apologize to the creator. I just came up with this idea while trying to stuff all of these cards in my file box.

You don't have to put anything inside the notecard, except that you write a short note of "Hello". That should get you a 5. Any extras might earn you a heart. The idea is to share these pretty cards for basically the one-stamp postage that it costs to mail a standard letter.

This will be international. Sorry I can't control who you get for a partner. If you happen to end up with international mailings every week, take a break, Just Don't Flake. I will Angel if necessary.

For this first week, the category is "Birds".

Any questions, please contact me. Thanks!
