Another Crappy Swap #4

I made mine last night and man oh man! It was much harder than I thought it would be! I decided to use two tp rolls, one inside the other, to make it stronger. Then I covered inside and out with many layers of tissue paper and mod podge. It's pretty strong now! I want to make more...ha ha.

Oooooh, Chinacat!! Excellent ideas to strengthen those suckers! I usually don't fondle those empty rolls but they seem less substantial than they used to be. You're a genius!😃😃😃

Well, these little suckers certainly are addictive anyway. Over the weekend I made seven Christmas and two Halloween. I decided to use a wrapping paper roll though because it was much stronger than the t.p. roll, although not as big around. I like the size because they look less toilet papery. ha ha! Kind of a b*tch to cut though because of the strength. I had my husband cut them for me. He used some sort of exacto knife thing - for some reason he doesn't have a saw. Anyway, it was FUN making them!

I have no husband and my goofy old cat-lady cat is worthless. 😒 I do have a "stunt husband" who changes my oil. I'll bet I can weasel him into cutting me a few tubes. Of course I'll have to feed him for the favor.😕 I'd better round up a few tubes and make it worth my while.

I dunno about this. I've made a couple of beginners holders and they are quite pathetic. I've got a feeling that I'm gonna have to include a few "apology" extras to make up for my lameness.
