Handmade Bookmark Sender's Choice Fun and Easy

I started collecting bookmarks as a child and still love collecting them! Even if you aren't a collector like me-bookmarks are something most of us can use. So, I thought it would be fun to do a handmade bookmark swap.

REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN: You must have completed at least 10 swaps (type 2 and/or 3...I am not counting electronic swaps). You must have a 5 rating (if you have a slightly lower rating because you have been unfairly rated you may contact me and we can discuss it, but I will have to use my best judgment and can't guarantee to let you in). I try very hard to make swaps I host "safe" because I know how disappointing it is to put TLC into a swap and receive nothing in return.

ABOUT THE SWAP: This is an international swap. Postage costs should be minimal...you will most likely be able to tuck your bookmarks into cards or regular letter envelopes and use a stamp or two (of course I recommend you always check with your post office regarding proper postage). You will have 3 partners. You will send each partner 1 bookmark. So, you will make a total of 3 bookmarks. Everything is "sender's choice"...use whatever method you like to make your bookmark (sewn, crochet, painted, etc) and you do NOT need to read your partner's profile. However, please do not send anything which could be offensive (nothing political, religious, vulgar, etc...ask me if you are unsure what to send). I know it seems like a lot of "rules and regulations", but it's all about trying to create a swap where we all receive quality items and have fun creating quality items for our partners.

WHAT TO MAKE/SEND: You must send a HANDMADE bookmark to each of the 3 partners. You can make your bookmark from whatever you like. If you like to sew, you can make a sewn bookmark, if you like to knit or crochet you can use yarn. If you are a painter, you can make a painted bookmark. You get the idea. Anything goes so long as it is handmade. Please send only QUALITY items that you have made yourself (no "re-gifting" please). I am giving you 2 weeks from swap sign up deadline to send out deadline. That should be time enough to make your bookmarks, but I recommend you get started making them as soon as you sign up for the swap. Since we are doing a "sender's choice" swap and you don't need to wait to see who your partners are and what their tastes are...you can get started as soon as you like and therefore have more than 2 weeks to make something fabulous. Really try to send something special to your partners.

ABOUT RATING YOUR PARTNERS: Please give your partner a rating of 5 IF they meet the swap requirements which are: 1. to send a handmade bookmark, and 2. to send it by the deadline. We are not judging skill level and we are not expecting our partner's to send anything based on our preferences as it's a sender's choice swap.
