See how the other half lives

I ran a similar swap a while ago as an e-swap-and it was fun so I thought it would be nice to do this via snail mail. I’ve always been fascinated with other people’s lives-especially in other countries and other cultures.

In this swap you will send one partner a letter and photo/illustration which describes for your partner a typical day in your life.

Requirements:

1. You will have one partner in this swap.

2. You will send one letter of at least one full page (A4 printer paper size or equivalent) describing a day in the life of you.

3. You will send one picture depicting part of your day. You may include your choice of a photo or an illustration.

4. You will send by the due date. If you do not send on time you risk being rated a 3.

5. You will rate your partner.

The finer details:

• Don't forget to include the swap name and your user name.

• You may hand-write or type and print and can decorate it if you wish-but this is not a requirement.

• You can send more pages if you like -but the requirement is only for a one page letter.

• Your ‘typical’ day doesn’t have to be a work day/m-f, but your letter should describe a typical day in your life (i.e.you do not have to be doing something particularly exciting-in fact the more boring or normal the better). It would be especially nice if you can include routines that may be unique in your country, your family or your profession-you can talk about your work, your kids, your meals, errands etc-you are also welcome to talk about what was not typical in that day-what went wrong-because we all have bad days too.

• You may include more than one picture if you like-but only one is required.

*Please rate your partners ASAP and include a comment with some feedback.

*If you receive a letter (of at least one page) and a picture you must rate a 5-of course hearts are up to you.

*Allow a reasonable amount of time for international postage-but communicate with me (the host) or your partner if there are any problems.
