Hope Chest #1 - Crochet Theme

This is the first in a new series I'm going to create. :) This one is a crafty one with a bit of a twist.

Participants will be those who are either hoping to get married in the future--or move in with/live permanently with their SO. You can be young or old, never married or divorced four times. It doesn't matter.

For each swap in the series, you will create ONE item for your partner's hope chest. This will be something related to the home, i.e. kitchen linen, a decorated recipe box, etc.

SWAP ONE RULES -

This first swap is for CROCHET ITEMS.

1. Please crochet one gift item for your swap partner's hope chest. Think cute dish cloths, a cotton towel for the bathroom, a decorative 'welcome' wreath, a Christmas ornament ... it doesn't really matter, as long as it's CROCHET and it's FOR THE HOME.

2. Please include A MESSAGE OF HOPE. This can be a quote, poem, inspirational card, etc. It can be something that you have copied out/handwritten, provided that you choose a message of hope that is not something you made up. I just think, for this particular swap, it would be fun to share something you have discovered that gave you hope and that might give someone else hope too. :)

3. Include A HANDWRITTEN NOTE. This can be a card, notepaper, sticky note, whatever. Just a short note to say hi, and maybe a little about you, or your day. It doesn't matter too much what you say, as long as it's nice. :D
