It's so interesting to see the newspaper headlines from other countries, and we had fun with this swap last year. So, I'm going to do it again! This swap is limited to only one person per country, so it's guaranteed that you will get newspaper pages from countries other than your own. When you sign up, please list your country below. You will have three partners. To each one, send the front page of your Christmas Day newspaper, plus a letter telling what you like to do on Christmas Day. Is there a special meal you enjoy making, or a family tradition that makes the day memorable? Tell your partner what makes Christmas wonderful in your family. Edited Dec 22 If you don't get a Christmas Day newspaper where you live, you may use the Christmas Eve edition. If your newspaper is not written in English, that is fine! It makes it all the more interesting, don't you think? To get extra newspapers, ask your neighbors or friends to save their papers for you. Or, you could just buy extras at the news stand. I'm allowing several days after Christmas to send your swap, because the holidays are a busy time for all of us. In summary, you will send one front page of your own Christmas Day newspaper to three partners, along with a letter. If you have any 1s, you may not join this swap. If you have a history of late sending or flaking, please do not sign up. If you flake, your name will go on my "Naughty List", which is something you do not want! I will be checking profiles of those who sign up. Newbies are welcome, but please have your profile filled out with more than a few lines. |
