Old Box ATC #2

Great!! I had fun with the first one, looking around the house for likely materials.

Me too! Giving my husband more ammo to laugh at it. I've got little piles of cardboard buidling up in the kitchen. Trying to look for more exotic boexes this time, lol !!

Does anyone else feel like the ATC's are "incomplete" when they aren't embellished or altered in some way? I found that that was the most challenging and fun part of the box ATC swap #1. I tried to add "something", not a lot, to my box ATC's to make them mine. I may be the only one thinking this way...if so..OK.

Farstarr, you are not alone, I like to embellish too! be it a brad or some little do dad or slip of ribbon.

Am I understanding correctly that all we are to do is just cut some cardboard packaging to 3.5 x 2.5? That seems way to simple so I am assuming it is actually difficult to find something that will in the end look interesting :)

Think I will scrounge around the kitchen and see what I have first before signing up, but sounds very interesting!

The beauty of it is that it is realy simple :D. But it is a challenge to find realy interesting boxes. But then again, i found it realy interesting to receive an old oreo box as i've never seen a box of them before.

i just sent out a bunch today...i don\'t think they were for number 2 yet! i still have tons and tons to use, and if nothing else they\'ll make great atc backs...

Mine went out this morning, I really enjoy these old box swaps...cant wait for the next one :-)

I can't believe i did that!!!! I only sent one ATC per person and it was 3 per person!!! ACK-luckily i managed to cut a whole bunch of boxes, so just a little bit of embellishment and off they go. I am sooooooooo sorry to my partners. The others are going out soon!!!

To my partners a big sorry. my cards are almost done. I had a meeting at work on creativity and decided at the last minute to give them a packet to make a birthday card sooooo the time i should have been finishing my cards i used to create the packets. I should have them in the mail tomorrow. They loved making their cards and found out they do have a creative gene! Even got some of them to think about coming to card making classes! Thanks for your patience.
