Hi! I don't want to say New Year's Resolutions because people seldom keep them. What I would like to say is "wishes". We all have wishes and desires and 2016 will be the year for you to make some of them come true. This swap is all about wishes. You will have one swap partner and you will send that partner a letter. The letter will include a little about yourself. It will also include your Twenty Wishes for 2016. What do I mean by Twenty Wishes - things that you would like to accomplish in 2016. They could be things that you dream about that you may or may not take seriously that you REALLY CAN accomplish. But the only thing that holds us back is not trying. If you can dream it you can do it, it may take planning, but heck what doesn't. An example would be - riding in a hot air balloon over the desert. But think about it, it could be doable, So for this swap you would figure out what YOUR Twenty Wishes would be. Now for the hot air balloon your probably saying whoa I need money for that, or where in the desert would I go. So part of the wish could be planning on how to accomplish that wish. Saving money for it, investigating it, etc. So maybe it won't happen this year, maybe it will, BUT if it doesn't atleast this year you planned on how to make it happen maybe in 2017 or even 2018. So you will send your partner a list of your wishes. Write them down so you have a list of them, because through out the year there will be other swaps and since their your wishes I am sure you are going to try to figure out how to make them happen and the steps to take to get there. This swap is a type 3 swap because its not something you can do overnight. You'll have to give it a lot of thought. Were talking about things you desire or wish to do. My favorite author is Debbie Macomber and this swap is based on her book Twenty Wishes |
