Description:

For this swap, you will have 3 partners. You go out a buy 1 yard of 100% cotton fabric (or use one from your stash) and cut it into 4 fat quarters, one each for 3 partners and one for you to keep. The color theme for this month is Christmas/Winter. That means angels, snowlakes, elves, presents, stockings, pine trees, etc. (Please, no solid-color fabrics because anybody can buy those anywhere.)

I would encourage everyone to also include a short note/letter to their partner as well but it is not required, it would just be nice for us to start to get to know each other. :-)

As always, it's fun to send little extras like sewing supplies or notions or notecards or something relating to your partner's profile, etc., but it is not mandatory.

You must be a member in good standing of the Fabric Art Divas group and must have a rating of 4.8 or higher and no unexplained 1's AT ALL and no 3's in the past 3 months. You must also have completed at least 5 "real mail" swaps (email swaps and postcards don't count), so, sorry - No Newbies. (Newbies can PM me for a private swap, though.) Also, you must have a decently filled profile and I WILL be checking profiles. This is International.

After everyone signs up, I will also be drawing some names to receive a special prize just from me. (Could be just one name, could be lots! You'll never know until after you sign up!)

This will be monthly swap for 12 months and will have a different color theme each month: Red, Christmas/Winter, Pink, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Brown, Black, White, Sender’s Choice. (The color themes are shown in the order we will swap them)

I've made the send-by date December 1 instead of November 30 because November 30 is a Sunday and I was afraid that with the US holiday Thanksgiving being on November 27, that some people might have trouble getting to the Post Office by November 29. Sorry if that's confusing!

I ordered some red fabrics on line and supposedly it has shipped, so as soon as I get it, it will be rewrapped and sent on to my partners. This is going to be really fun . . . three new fat quarters each month! What a great way for us to build our stashes! Krazyquilts, this may be your best idea yet.

Thanks, @marquettegirl ! I do try. :-P

They really are great stash builders, aren't they? The reason I started these swaps is because some of our international members were saying how it is very difficult for them to find fat quarters where they are, and that yardage was easier and cheaper for them to buy, but they really preferred using/buying fat quarters. So, I decided to set these swaps up with them in mind. :-)

I realized that I never announced the winner of December's Special prize! It is @fabriholic ! Congratulations!
