GROUP SWAP: Recycled Gift Tags

I would like to join this swap! Sounds fun and will be a great way to use some of the wonderful cards I have!

Should the tag have the "To:" and "From:" headings and lines, or just blank? Or is that up to the designer?

On a related note, 5 years ago our extended family met up at a rental house for Christmas. My in-laws made ornaments by cutting out designs from cards, then stringing yarn through a punched hole at the top. That way we could have a decorated tree but nobody had to transport (and potentially lose) ornaments!

Can I recycle old tags into new and improved ones? For example, I have a bunch of fancy tags from new pairs of jeans. Can I alter them to make holiday tags?

I'm sorry this took me so long to answer. My laptop has died and I was waiting on a new one. Your imagination is all that is required in this swap. The main idea is to recycle paper into tags that we can use. How you do this is up to you. Becuase the holidays are upon us I thought keeping with a holiday theme would be nice. How you do this is up to you.

blackeyedsusan... from my understanding we are allowed to use anything as long as it is recycled materials.

And I'm really sorry to do this, but I think it would be best for me to drop this swap. I wish I could participate but under current circumstances it's not the best thing. :(

I have PMed the hostess...she has been busy and seems to be able to assign partners after tomorrow....its ok by me! I am moving Nov 1st anyway.

I am so sorry to all of you. I know I have not been the best of hostessess. I have a new job that is keeping me very busy and trying to get into a schedule of working, keeping up with the family and my swaps has taken a toll. To top it off we bought a new house and are in the process of moving. I am living out of boxes right now. AAGHH!!!
