Leap Day 2016 PC swap USA

2016 is a leap year, and Leap day is Feb 29th 2016.

My 26 year old son is getting married Leap Day, Feb 29th 2016 to a great gal. I also collect postcards, and would like a few cards with this exact date on the postmark. I also thought that this couple might like a memento of this date for future anniversaries.

For this swap you will have 3 postcard partners, and if you choose to do a RAOK, you can also send a postcard of well wishes to the happy new couple, hopefully the Postcard is also postmarked FEB 29th 2016.

This swap is USA only, and is for those who can go to the PO on Feb 29th and assure that their cards are being postmarked FEB 29th, 2016. The best way to do this is to hand the cards to the worker and kindly ask if they can hand cancel them for this important date. Most workers will gladly accommodate our quirky postal weirdness.

If you know for a fact that your PO isnt that accommodating this is not the swap for you.

This swap is not going to work well for those who need to leave their mail in an outgoing box with no real assurance on the date they may be processed.

The postcard is senders choice. I can not angel this swap because of course the date will have passed.

Be careful, you must be able to get to the PO on FEB 29th to meet the standards of this swap.

A mostmark that is NOT readable can happen, and that does not mean you can give your sender a 3. A postmark that is not FEB 29th may result in a poor rating. Please dont sign up if you tend of have a life that is full of drama.
