BOOKMARK CHALLENGE #3

This third bookmark challenge is to create ONE Tim Holtz style bookmark for your partner with a SPRING THEME. This should be easy on the postage budget for everyone.

This will be sender's choice for those who would like to jump right in and make the bookmarks, but you may also wait for partner assignment to read your partner's profile for special likes and dislikes. The bookmarks MUST be at least 1-1/2 x 6 inches and can be LARGER. A bit more width and length is easier to work with.

Choose a favorite Tim Holtz saying and/or a spring image; in addition, use a bit of shabby lace, ribbon, flat buttons, etc. Be sure to put a ribbon, baker's twine, or other fiber trim through a hole at the top of each bookmark and add a tiny charm or two if you wish. Check out “Handmade Bookmarks” on Pinterest for inspiration! Or explore some of Tim's tags from this or previous years (especially for spring months) and use a tag as inspiration for your bookmark.

SO: Send ONE bookmark at least 1-1/2 x 6 inches (OR MORE) to ONE partner. Be sure to use some papers, stamps, and ephemera that are distinctly Tim Holtz. However, you will want to keep the bookmark relatively flat considering its purpose. Be sure to include your Swap-Bot name, group name and name of swap on back of your bookmark so your partner can easily rate your bookmarks. The usual MANDATORY rule applies: HAVE FUN making your bookmark, send on time, and rate promptly!
