CHWH - Chunky house - floral

Chunky houses, new craft for me but they look so pretty! We could make a series of chunky houses if you are interested to join :)

In this swap you will have one partner and you'll make one chunky house. Shape and style of the house is sender's choise but the theme is floral, something to do with flowers.

What is chunky house? It's a house shaped cardboard decorated nicely. Very simple actually.

Draw the outline of a house and cut it out. Use a heavy piece of cardstock — cereal box for example. A good size would be anywhere from 3″ to 5″ wide/tall and 4″ to 6″ tall/wide. The size can vary.. I'd say bit bigger than ACT is great. Your house can be horisontal or vertical.

Decorate your house with different layers: papers — scrapbooking papers, maps, music paper, wrapping paper, etc. Use embellishments like stickers, rosettes, beads, lace, ribbon, buttons, glitter, yarn, stamps, even little coins etc. You can also use magazine or greeting card images.
