Description:

There's nothing like the excitement of receiving that snail mail addressed just to you and there's nothing like a fun challenge of putting it together.

This is a themed swap and if it goes well, I'll make it a regular swap with a different theme each time.

This month, the theme is "Summer". Be proud of what you send. The goal is to make the receiver happy and for the giver to have a fun challenge.

For this swap you will....

1) Decorate the envelope you are sending. Be creative. Make it fun.

2) Include 3 of the following:

  • 2 WASHI samples (18 inch minimum)

    • 3 stamped images on white card stock (card stock must be no smaller then 2 X 3 in.)

    • 3 die cut images (made from your dies or store bought)

    • 6 stickers nickel size or larger ( no reward or kiddy stickers)

    • 3 tags ( handmade or store bought)

    • 3 pieces of ephemera ( used postage stamps, tickets, vintage playing card, anything along those lines)

    • 3 journaling cards

    • 2 nice embellishments or charms ( store bought or handmade)

    • 1 blank note card with matching envelope ( store bought or handmade)

    • 1 small handmade envelope with a secret surprise or a fun quote tucked inside ( summer themed paper)

    • 1 really fun item from your personal stash. ( We all have that box of extra special items.)

3) Include a happy note to your partner. Don't forget to add your swap ID and the name of this swap.

REMEMBER... This is a themed swap so your items must be "Summer" related. Example: WASHI must have at least one sample of a summer themed pattern the other can be a summer color. OR...stamped images can be of an ice cream cone, an image of a sun and an image of a pair of flip flops just make sure your sending 3 different images.

That's it. If you want to send more then feel free. Try to keep it at an ounce. This swap is open to newbies with at least 3 completed swaps and a well filled out profile. I will eliminate any swappers with questionable ratings. I will angel if necessary.
