I bought some really nice flowers to do this with a while back. A friend was supposed to show me how. I will have to go to these websites and figure it out for myself now. But this will get me to make them finally huh. I've wanted a flower pen forever lol. Thanks for the wonderful swap idea and for giving me a reason to get them done.

I'm ok with that, there is plenty of time to go and buy them if I don't already have them. I keep all of mine in a tin canaster with plastic over them to keep them nice. So they are always like new when I get to them for whatever I use them for.

This is perfect! I'm making the flowers for our wedding in June, so this will give me another creative way to make use of all those rolls of flower tape that I have laying around! And what a cute gift for my bridesmaids! I'm so glad to have found this swap!!!

Wow now i'm trippin hard core lmao. I just found someone with my name on here. And so I added the S for the beginning of my last name. And I came in to let all the swaps I'm on know about it and low and behold it changed all of my post's by itself! WOW Swap bot really needs to fix that so no one has the same name.

How are you mailing your pens? I have my pens created and I am stumped on packaging! Patty/pattywagan

You can buy tubes at your local Staples, or Office Depot. I don't know if Walmart would sell them. If they don't sell small tubes you could always buy the big one for like posters and cut it down and tape cardboard on the end for a new cap and use the left over tube for another swap like this. Just an idea.

**********my pens might be bad*********** oh my, I was looking at some of the pens that I made when I made the other pens I sent out and the ones here are leaking. Not all of them but MOST of them. I've never made them before and I thought it would be nicer to take the top off and slide the flower inside instead of putting them on the side with the wire. Well I had no clue that was a air compression thing or it had a reaction with the glue I used. I don't know what. But if your pens are leaking I will make all new one's. Please let me know, my partners were......brnwebgrrl, Kimmie and Snaughty Girl. I am very sorry. If you want me to just send a replacement I will be happy to.
