OK, this is how it goes. Stand at your front or back or side door at home or work. Walk no more than 100 feet in any direction away from your building/house/apartment. You can walk less than 100 feet. I am giving a large parameter so we can all have lots of inspiration to choose from.

Take a picture of anything that inspires you.

Mail your photo postcard to 2 partners.

4.5 ratings. NO FLAKERS. Will check and ban, if necessary. Newbies welcome.

With the cooler weather coming on, there should be some great scenes.

This is similar to a challenge we talked about at a fiber group I am involved with. It is so fun to see what might be interesting just outside our doors. We don't always take time to notice and this forces you to take notice.

Stupid Questions - how do you make the photo a postcard? Do you mail it as a postcard or in an envelope? Sorry, obviously, I'm a newbie on this - but I love taking pictures!!

You can send the photo as is as a PC, but it is better to reinforce it by gluing on a backing like cardstock or light cardboard.

I made this template for the back of postcards. I print it out on 12 x 8 cardstock, makes four 6 x 4 postcards. It is a word file so very easy to use and modify. http://warrnamboolcameraclub.blogspot.com/2008/09/postcards.html
