ABC's candy swap

I got a bit carried away today: I already bought candy for almost half of the alphabets. :) I think I'll now wait until I get my next paycheck soon before I buy more.

HI - I did the same thing! lol! THis is harder than it looks though! Trying to not buy the "usual Mars/Hershey' candy that is everywhere and find one in each letter is not so easy. But I have to say, this is the most fun I've had with a swap yet - I love a challenge!

I only have 4 letters left! But of course, they are the hard ones. I hope to finish it up tomorrow - I am on a mission!

I have seven left and for five of them I already know what I'm going to buy. Z and Q have turned out to be very difficult to find (even though my boyfriend has been helping me to hunt out missing letters, he seems to be very keen on this too :) ), so maybe I'll replace them with some other letters.

My husband helped too - seems if you give them a 'mission' you can get them to do anything! lol!

I now have all letters (I replaced those two I couldn't find with other letters). Now I only need to pack and send them. I'll do that on next week. :)

I'm done too! I'll be shipping this week, hopefully tomorrow if I can get a ride to the post office. I now understand why they are so strict on who can join a swap. It can add up to quite a bit of money, so if you get flaked on - your out a lot of money! And I'm afraid we are both going to pay a lot for shipping. But it's not something we would do all the time - it's a treat! And we deserve a treat once in a while, right?
Well, don't worry - you will not be flaked on and I hope you like everything. I didn't skimp - I bought good stuff. Some are odd and unique- but good! This has been the most fun I had on a swap yet. Thanks for agreeing to do it with me.

Yes, you're right, shipping doesn't matter that much because sending packages that are as heavy as these doesn't happen too often. :) I was thinking that if it's possible could you mark the total value in the customs form around USD 20? Then I wouldn't have to pay taxes and I'd be very happy. :)

I will mail your package on Friday when I have time to go straight to the post office in the morning. It became a bit heavy and I think I can't take it to the university with me to carry it around until I can go to mail it on my lunch time. :)

YOUR CANDY IS ON THE WAY! OMG was it heavy - 6 POUNDS!! Yes, you have 6 pounds of candy on the way. I think I went a little crazy. Don't eat it all at one time :) I took it to the post office today, so let me know when it gets there. I hope you love it! Susan

I received your candy package today and it really made my day! I hope you will receive mine soon too! I'm already getting a bit nervous of why it's taking this long as I sent it using Priority mail, but I hope it's just taking a bit longer because it was a big and heavy package.
