Write 1,000 Words a Day for 5 Days

I think that the swap title says it all, really! For this swap, simply sit down and write 1,000 words a day for 5 days. That's it. 1,000 words is around 4 pages. This exercise is sort of commonly accepted as being the one thing that all writers should do to get their juices flowing and to really start creating. So, are you up for this challenge?

The Details

• Write 1,000 words a day for 5 days consecutively.

• The pieces do not have to be part of a greater whole. They can be totally independent, which means you can start a brand new piece each day - or you can make it a cohesive story.

• You may write more than 1,000 words on any given day if the mood and/or muse so strikes you.

• Enclose a brief note at the end of the swap summarizing your feelings after having accomplished this. Be sure to note whether or not you're looking for specific feedback, and if you plan to keep doing this.

• Package it up and send it to your partner!

The Administrivia

• 5 days worth of writing (1,000 words a day) to 1 partner!

• Must not have any recent 1's or 3's and may not have any late swaps on your dash (even if they're "only" a day late).

• This swap must be typewritten. There will be no exceptions.

• 10 days to signup, 7 days to write and send.

• Each day's worth of writing must have the date and time noted at the top. So, the date you wrote that 1,000 words, the time you started, and the time you finished for the day.

• Rate your partners promptly on receipt. Your partner should not have to message you to ask if you've received because you haven't rated them. If you have time to log in to the site to check messages, you have time to rate.

• If you are flaked on (and I certainly hope you are not!), rate your partner a 1 and let me know. I will angel this swap. Please note - anyone in this group who flakes will be immediately removed.
