Hello lovely people :0) I have again found inspiration for a special type of "junk journal". Today in my email box i read A news letter by 'How Does She?' http://howdoesshe.com/ The article that caught my eye is called a Kids Quote Journals. I am in love with the idea. The article in the news letter is very informative please do read, anyways this article has me wanting to make one, would anyone like to swap one of these potentially cute journals? To sum up the article a Kids Quote Journal is a book one writes down the funny, cute, darling things one hears kids saying. "How Does She?' does mention that these books don't have to be for just parents. I would be interested in knowing how many things a kindergarten or grade one teacher could write in a book like this. :-D So for this swap start by finding a cover (no smaller than 6inches by 4inches) medium of your choice (old book, foam sheet, cardboard, chip board, folder or something sturdy) decorate and embellish according to the theme. prepare at least 3 signatures with at least 5 sheets per signature(meaning there will be ten pages in the signature when installed in the book). The binding i leave up to your preference. Embellish with pockets, tags, flip pages, sewing, details and more. Please make something you would love to receive. Any questions or comments please PM me :0) Newbies: please pm me if you are interested and don't have 10 or more type 3 swaps. |
