Description: | |
Write a letter teling your partner, in detail, what you did in the last 24 hours. Pick a day, if you can, that is typical of your everyday life. We all think our lives are mundane, but to other people living diferent lives they can be fascinating. Plus, sometimes when we look at them through an outsider's eyes we notice beautiful things we take for granted on a daily basis. Tell your about your routine. Where did you go, how and why and what it was like when you got there? Who did you talk to and what kind of people are they? What was playing on the radio? What was frustrating about your day? What was the best part of it? What did you read/watch on TV? What did you wear? What did you do at work, what stupid thing did your partner do that annoyed you.... you get the idea! Perhaps add something about what you noticed that you wouldn't otherwise have done had you not been thinking about this letter. Try to give specific details. So Not 'I drove to work' but perhaps 'I drove in my pink VW Bug down the A580 past the place that I used to love going to for burgers but is now derelict..." Two pages minimum please but more is fine. Extra gifts are always nice but not required (I do understand that these can bump up postage and exclude some people from a swap. Maybe send somthing that relates to your day. I am doing three partners so we get a variety of lifestyles - obviously you can pick three different days or just pick one day, type the main bit of the letter and add personal bits in to each recipient to save time, or write in advance and have it ready to send. ( no one will knwo what you sent to the other partners anyway!) Usual warning applies - more than 1 no send or rating less than 4 without very good explanation to me by private message gets you banned. Newbies welcome. This is international |
