Image as a writing prompt

Choose a cool image that has plenty of scope for imagination. It can be a photograph, a magazine clipping, a postcard or a photocopy. Send it to your partner, giving your return address but DO NOT make any comment about the image you have chosen.

When the image arrives, please rate it.

Now the fun begins!

Write back to your partner: a letter, story, fiction, dialogue, essay, poem or diary entry about the image you have received. This need not be long, but make it count! Pop it in an envelope and send it to the person whose image you received. Aim for a two-week turnaround, though I understand that part of the world will be up to its elbows in Christmas, so no stress! Just let your partner know.
