The Great International Cr*pfest Swap!

Hello fellow B-movie and pulp fiction enthusiasts!

I figured if I can find anybody out there who is as much into things that are so bad that they become really good as me, it's in this group! So, are there any lovers of creature features, connoisseurs of trashy comic books and anonymous readers of penny dreadfuls here (I personally hide my collection of the latter in our bathroom, pretending they are "just for guests")? Then you've come to the right place! This swap gives you the opportunity to share your personal "worst of" of B-culture!

So, what should you surprise your partner with?

• A DVD of your favourite B-movie (we're not talking Tom-Cruise-bad, but REALLY low budget - think "Brain Dead" or "Arachnoquake"! If in doubt,rather go with C to Z-Movies)

• A copy of your favourite trashy comic book (everything's allowed from backpain-causingly busty girls to shrilly coloured zombies munching on brains)

• An issue of your favourite penny dreadful series (don't worry about it being the first issue - there's not much story to follow anyway! Any genre goes, as long as it's really dreadfully badly written and incredibly simple-minded)

• A list of your personal favourites in the field (I won't make any rules as to what this is supposed to be. List any medium of any genre you think deserves a place in the Hall of Shame of pop culture - and make it look cool!)

• A letter explaining to your partner why you love these things so much, what makes you read/watch them, what hilarious experiences you might have had when admitting to it in front of your more serious friends, what drinking games you like to play while watching ... whatever you'd like to share, really! Please make this at least 1 A4 page (front and back) long!

• A trashy surprise (this could be anything and I won't put a value on it. It could be a drawing by you, a merchandise item you found super-goofy, an autograph of your favourite "never-made-it-in-Hollywood"-Star ... get creative!)

Now for some rules: All of the items above can be gently used - no need to buy new DVDs or books, this is a trashy swap, after all! Obviously, everything has to be usable, though. For DVDs: Check the regional code (if in doubt with your partner) - lots of newish players don't have the issue anymore, but we don't want anybody disappointed. If it's a problem, order the DVD from a seller in the recipient's country and have it shipped directly to them (and send the rest of the parcel separately, obviously).

Please send this in a discrete parcel (so the mailman won't know about your terrible taste and dangerous addiction). :D I'm kidding! Go nuts on the packaging if you like! The crapfest could start already when your partner sees the parcel ...

This swap is a little bigger, so I would like participants to maintain a rating of 4.98 without any unexplained 1's and 3's. You should have completed at least 15 type 3 swaps to join here (I might make exceptions to this in very special cases - if you beg me to join with only 14 under your belt, I won't kick you out. But your begging has to be top notch! :-P). I will check all profiles before assigning partners. If I see something I don't like, I reserve the right to ban participants.
