Description:

This is a swap I've held the last couple years and it's really helped keep me accountable to the vision board process I try to do annually.

The idea is to help your partner with a 2017 vision board.

Send your partner at least 5 pieces of inspirational bits that they can incorporate into a vision board. Pieces can be magazine cutouts, printed images, stickers, purchased bits, etc. They should be flat.

Please put in the comments a few "visions" you have for 2017 - travel, weight loss, romance, finances, etc. That will give your partner some direction to send something useful. Please also indicate the approximate size of your board so your partner knows whether to stick to big or small pieces.

I will gladly angel although I will also check profiles thoroughly.

My board is a 24x36 bulletin board that kind of constantly changes. So items from small up to about 12" square are appreciated and usable.

Some themes that would help me are:

Superheroes (especially Wonder Woman and other females) Outdoor Images, especially forest (I want to be more active) Financial Images - especially regarding savings and debt Finding a new job Overall health and wellness Travel

My board is also roughly 24x36.

I want to try getting outdoors more so anything nature related is great, especially dandelions, bumble bees, forests, trees, leaves, ferns, moons, stars, spiders, flowers, deer, moths, and other pretty bugs.

Other themes that would be great are goddesses or powerful female images, pretty witches, gypsies, lucky cat, skeletons, anatomical hearts, mythical creatures, whales.

Images that inspire art making are also great.

My vision board is super unique. It's my whole room! There's things all over the walls (you can't really see the walls) so don't worry about size restraints. Cannot wait! I love piglets and the environment humans rights justice local musicians (I write music) things about writing (I'm a paid journalist for a publication) and anything full of color and art!

I don't have a vision board yet but I keep things in a notebook/scrapbook so don't worry about size for me - though not too big. I love colour (especially rainbow), glitter, nature, animals and inspiring quotes.

My board is about the size mentioned above BUT I don't mind putting them anywhere or notebook: I'm trying to draw more (inspirational pictures or other); about being a teacher; anything about mythical creatures (no religious, please); forest/forest creatures; moon, stars; cooking (my fridge is a vision board too)...thank you...

QUICK QUESTION: if you partner doesn't make a list here in the comments, what are we supposed to send?

My vision boards tend to be poster board size...but this year I'm considering making one in a standard size traveller's notebook. That said, I'd be happy to accept any image sizes since I'm undecided.

Next year I want to really work on: 1. Saving money, budgeting. 2. Reducing stress. 3. Getting pregnant for the first time. (huge goal) 4. Improving my health. 5. Growing my business (law practice).

I'm happy with words and/or images -- the more colorful and unique, the better.

probably you should check the profile...

I have several "visions" for next year, but I try not to go too far in my wishes because I don't want to disappoint myself! Some goals:

  • Decluttering
  • Better budgeting
  • Improve the fitness of both me and my dog
  • I want to write more
  • Better sleep habits

I'd also like to eat better and to actually put my "hundreds" of art journal pages IN one of my journals! But the five in the list are at the top.

I love color, art, words, design; I also love most of the holidays, although it's been a few years since I decorated for them - I love Halloween, Christmas, and Arbor Day (I know, weird). And I love books!

As for size, I have three in different places - only is only about 8" x 10," the others are more like 18" x 24."

Small is great. I like random or quirky images to jog my creativity. Happy with anything. ~Tracy

My "vision board" is an entire wall in my office. Some of my visions for 2017 are: Weight Loss Going to Disney (I love Stitch) Getting another dachshund Financial Freedom

I love quotes and motivational sayings.
The more colorful the better.
Sugar skulls are always appreciated
