I think your last day & items sent day are mixed up!

ohhhh kc_froglady - thank you SO much for starting this one again - I was just thrilled seeing it from way back when, but had not even heard of this wonderful place back then - can hardly WAIT - I'm new to ATC's, and have been such a fan of stamps for many years - this will be such a fun way to combine BOTH... only an 8 day turn around? don't you think that is quite a short amount of time, especially for those of us who are involved in a lot of swaps? jmho...

I was advised when I started to try to make before the SIGN UP deadline that way if 'life happens ' or you are too busy you don't sign up.. Sometimes too long a turn around can make me complacent.It doesn't work with large numbers tho!!!!!...Caz

turn around time is the time to mail - you can start making them now :) The beauty of these kind of ATC swaps is it is not basedon anything from the partner so you don't have to wait to know who it is before making them :) I don't like long turn arounds either and although most swaps I do for a 2 week period I thought this one pretty simple and a week was enough time.~~~Karyn

Love this swap theme! I did the Christmas and swap #1 used postage on swap-bot. Plus I have done this theme on 2 other groups. I am getting quite the collection now. And last but not least- one of my friends is doing one next month so I must start thinking about that one.

I'm so excited for this swap..I have TONS of used stamps from US and international!

I agree that this is such a neat "theme" for atc's, that it's just fun to have quite a stash ready-made - I had SO much fun making the three needed for THIS swap that I went ahead and made seven MORE - I am new to atc's, and wasn't really sure if I liked my own (my own worst critic probably and all that!) - but these are just so much fun and what wonderful "themes" can be found on the variety of stamps! Mine are ready to be sent as soon as we get our partners, I hope they like them, have a good week, MaryB

Hi..I just signed up for this one. I have never done ATC's before but have been wanting to try. This one seems like the perfect start. I have been doing Deco friendship books for years which is very similar. I am going to start working on my cards now...

I was not home last night so did not get to assign partners I am checking the newbies out now and will assign them as soon as I can! (it is now Friday afternoon EST)

How very embarrassing! I received a reminder that I had not sent my items, but I did. I forgot to post it. They were sent on the 21st, close to deadline, but I wasn't late. I did email my partner a couple times explaining my delay.

Received your lovely pkg. Margot from UK. Love the little ATC envelopes. What a good idea. And as usual, I love my new postals to add to the collection. I have started a new book just for them as I seem to be getting quite a few now. I wish swapbot would open the ratings page as soon as the swap date was official. Some people send very promptly and it would be nice to be able to post the ratings when we received- then we wouldn't forget to post ratings- just a tho't.

Many thanks to Panda (Gailey in HI) for the beautiful ATCs. It is hard to believe you are a beginner. Each of these cards is beautifully crafted and original. And I love the bee notecard :-)

Karyn, I used copper embossing powder. Doesn't it look like real melted copper! I learn so much from you from your other swap, I get inspired to try different things.
